Staff consultation has commenced on a number of Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) service reconfiguration plans. SALHN has been working with staff and clinicians on these plans ahead of the relocation of services from the Repatriation General Hospital (RGH) later this year.

These plans include:

The Outpatient Services Reconfiguration Plan outlines the proposed movement of outpatient services across the SALHN to improve the quality and efficiency of outpatient service delivery.

The Surgery and Perioperative Medicine Service Plan provides an overview of the proposed transition of services, HR processes, associated timelines and capital works for the operating theatre, surgical procedural room and associated perioperative activity from the Repatriation General Hospital to other SALHN sites.

The Corporate Services Reconfiguration Plan outlines the proposed model that will support the transition of Corporate Services from the Repatriation General Hospital to other SALHN sites.

The Nursing and Midwifery Clinical Corporate Services Reconfiguration Plan outlines the proposed model that will support the transition of Clinical Corporate Services from Repatriation General Hospital to other SALHN sites.

The plans are available on the SALHN Intranet and a number of local meetings and staff forums have been held across the network. Further feedback can be provided at the staff meetings or submitted via email to Health.SALHNTransformingHealth@sa.gov.au.
